Musician Kim Dong-ryul will release an autumn ballad.

On the 21st, Kim Dong-ryul announced the release of his new song "Walk" through his official SNS. He introduced "Walk" by saying, "It's a song I've put a lot of effort into for a long time, so I have a lot of personal attachment to it."

He continued, "I'm excited and looking forward to how it will reach people and what kind of flowers it will bloom and bear fruit. It's a song that suits the season. I hope you listen to it comfortably."

"Walk" is his first new song in about 11 months since "It's Old, But" (released 2023.11). It is a retro pop style ballad number recorded with all acoustic performances. It follows the vein of traditional ballads like "Reply."

The fact that it doesn't follow trends is rather attractive. Unlike leaving a stimulating impression in a short time, it sings with a long breath of 5 minutes. It contains a melody and lyrics like a story.

Kim Dong-ryul will release "Walk" on the 27th at 6 PM. He previewed, "Please look forward to a Kim Dong-ryul style ballad that seeps deeply into the heart, allowing you to focus solely on music."

Meanwhile, Kim Dong-ryul appeared as a guest on fellow musician Lee Juck's solo concert stage from the 17th to the 20th. He visited all four performances and harmonized with Lee Juck.

Regarding his guest appearance, he recalled, "As I sang together on stage, I realized that I might have been missing the Carnival stage a lot."

He remarked, "These are the songs we created together in our early twenties, when we were shining the brightest," and "I was grateful that we could still sing them together after such a long time."

He also thanked the audience, saying, "It was a time to be grateful once again that so many people still enthusiastically welcome our stage."
