“We’re Back!”

SBS-TV’s new Friday-Saturday drama ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ (written by Park Jae-beom, directed by Park Bo-ram) released its first teaser on the 18th.

Kim Nam-gil, Lee Hanee, and Kim Sung-kyun showcased comedic performances.

Despite being only 49 seconds long, it was sufficient to set the atmosphere.

It had an abundance of the comedic madness that followed the first season.

The phrase “seriously gone crazy” suited it well.

Fiery priest Kim Hae-il (played by Kim Nam-gil) opened the teaser.

Wearing a black priest’s robe, he resolutely stated, “The devil isn’t as black as it comes out in pictures.”

It’s expected to have exhilarating action. Kim Hae-il and Goo Dae-young (played by Kim Sung-kyun) splendidly took down the villains.

Park Kyung-seon (played by Lee Hanee) handled a villain with a frying pan, exclaiming, “You’re dead!”

The three-character individuality also drew attention.

Goo Dae-young proudly declared, “Knight head, knight head!” even after getting hit on the head with a wooden club.

He also transformed into Poong Ba-woo and brought laughter.

Kim Hae-il confidently shouted to the gangsters, “As you can see, I am a servant of God,” but showed a clumsy charm when a gun was used to silence him.

Park Kyung-seon hinted at a meticulous investigative approach, threatening with a starting pose, “Do you know what this sound is? It’s the sound of a soul milling machine.”

The outrageous chemistry was perfect. Kim Hae-il and Goo Dae-young exhibited a dumb-and-dumber style argument, saying, “Can’t go!”, “Go now!”.

Finally, Kim Hae-il gave a loud directive, “Let’s go!”.

The comedic point included executing missions hidden in trick art.

Park Kyung-seon transformed into a mural, and Kim Hae-il poked his head above a table.

Park Kyung-seon asked, “Do we really have to go this far?”

The ending was also led by Kim Hae-il.

He declared, “We must inform all the devils. That somewhere, surely, God exists,” and succeeded with his signature spinning kick, letting out an exhilarating shout.

The production team said about the first teaser, “It is composed of scenes that will solve the thirst for an exhilarating comic crime drama in one go” and asked for great interest in the bigger synergy of ‘The Fiery Priest 2’.

Meanwhile, ‘The Fiery Priest 2’ is a sequel to ‘The Fiery Priest’ (2019). Fiery priest Kim Hae-il goes to Busan to dismantle the country’s largest drug cartel.

It will follow ‘The Judge from Hell’ and premieres on the 8th of next month at 10 PM.
