Actor Jung Sung-il is making headlines with his dazzling dual sword action. Alongside Kang Dong-won and Park Jung-min, he plays a pivotal role in the Netflix movie 'War of the Yeon,' directed by Kim Sang-man.

Jung invested several months in mastering the dual sword action. On the 17th, 'XYZ Studio' released behind-the-scenes stills capturing his hard work. Jung appeared at the practice hall in comfortable attire. Holding swords in both hands, he engaged in a fencing battle with a partner, focusing intently with a charismatic expression.

His agency explained, "Unlike other characters, Genshin wields swords with both hands, requiring more practice. Jung undertook horseback riding and Japanese language training to deliver high-quality action scenes."

Jung's character is Genshin, a vanguard of the Japanese army. Wearing a goblin mask, he dominates battlefields as if on a hunt, clashing with Cheonyoung (played by Kang Dong-won) using his dual swords.

Genshin's presence was overwhelming. He exuded a relaxed gaze befitting an invader, with a condescending tone towards the Korean people, and meticulously portrayed an arrogant expression. His deep voice also left a strong impression.

Meanwhile, 'War of the Yeon' is set against the backdrop of the Imjin War and tells the story of the son of Korea's top military family, Lee Jong-ryeo (played by Park Jung-min), and his servant Cheonyoung. It depicts the intertwined fate and friendship of these two men amid the horrific war.
