Actor Kim Nam-gil has produced a film to support young people preparing for independence. The film "How to Open a Door" is set for an exclusive release at Lotte Cinema on the 20th of next month. The main poster was unveiled on the 15th. The poster captures the experiences of the protagonist 'Haneul.'

The poster was designed by artist Park Eun-hyun, who stated, "I thought it would be more interesting to express it with artwork rather than photographs, so I created it," adding, "I made it with the hope that it would serve as a guide for the audience to easily follow the unfamiliar aspects of the film."

"How to Open a Door" centers on 'Haneul,' a young person preparing for independence, whose first step towards independence, her home, suddenly disappears overnight. The film tells the story of her struggles to find her home. Kim Nam-gil took on the role of producer, imbuing the project with significant meaning. Kim is the representative of the cultural arts NGO GILSTORY. The film was produced in collaboration with KB Kookmin Bank to achieve cultural solidarity with young people preparing for independence.

Directors Park Ji-wan and Heo Ji-ye co-wrote and directed the film. Director Park received the Blue Dragon Film Award for Best New Director for "The Day I Died." Director Heo has directed several independent films such as "Room of Two Women" and "Save the Cat." The film is a fantasy genre that tells the story of young people taking their first steps into society. Actress Chae Seo-eun plays the role of 'Haneul.' She has left an impression in various works such as "High Cookie," "Mr. Queen," and "Forecasting Love and Weather."

Chae Seo-eun is expected to vividly portray the circumstances of her peers, from Haneul's confident and bright appearance to addressing realistic problems. "How to Open a Door" was planned and produced along with the "Together on the Way" campaign, which supports the creative activities of young people preparing for independence. It received a warm response with all seats sold out at the Busan International Film Festival.
