Actors Song Seung-heon, Jo Yeo-jeong, and Park Ji-hyun return with a provocative chamber thriller. Distributor NEW announced on the 15th that the movie 'The Hidden Face' (directed by Kim Dae-woo) is set to be released on the 20th of next month. Three story posters and the first trailer have also been unveiled, hinting at the relationships among the three main characters. 'The Hidden Face' is a chamber thriller. Seong-jin (played by Song Seung-heon) is in pursuit of his missing fiancée, Soo-yeon (played by Jo Yeo-jeong). In his path appears Soo-yeon's junior, 'Mi-joo' (played by Park Ji-hyun). Soo-yeon is found trapped in a secret space, revealing her bare face.

The poster suggests significant situations for each character. Seong-jin and Mi-joo are caught in a secret liaison after Soo-yeon disappears. Soo-yeon is seen trapped in a chamber, looking on in shock. Sensual copywriting followed, with phrases like "Trapped, Watched, Exposed." The scene where the three characters look in different directions hints at entangled desires. The trailer was thrilling. It depicted Soo-yeon being suddenly trapped in a chamber after saying farewell to her fiancé, Seong-jin. Mi-joo boldly approaches Seong-jin, targeting Soo-yeon's absence.

Seong-jin is drawn to Mi-joo, expressing hidden desires. A representative commented, "Look forward to the provocative premise of witnessing the peak of desire while trapped in a chamber, and the astonishing acting transformations of Song Seung-heon, Jo Yeo-jeong, and Park Ji-hyun." This is director Kim Dae-woo’s latest work, known for showcasing sophisticated eroticism in projects like ‘The Servant' and 'Obsessed.' This film also boasts of his delicate directing skills. The original is a Colombian film of the same name (directed by Andrés Baiz, 2011).
