Jung Hae-in, “Feelings on the end of ‘The Perfect Son’” … “My first rom-com, a time of great learning”

Actor Jung Hae-in shared his thoughts on the conclusion of tvN's "Mom's Friend's Son" (written by Shin Ha-eun, directed by Yoo Je-won). "Mom's Friend's Son" aired its final episode on the 6th. The viewership rating that day was an average of 8.5% nationwide (according to Nielsen Korea), marking its highest record and concluding beautifully.

He stated, "I think I laughed more than ever. It was my first time doing a romantic comedy, and I was able to finish well thanks to the considerate staff and fellow actors." Regarding the character Choi Seung-hyo, he said, "He was very similar to me. There were many parts I could relate to," and added, "That's why I sincerely wished for Seung-hyo's happiness."

He continued, "I learned a lot while acting as Seung-hyo, and it was a happy time growing together. I'm thankful to the viewers who watched with affectionate eyes."

Jung Hae-in took on his first romantic comedy role since his debut. He played the successful architect Choi Seung-hyo. He acted alongside Jung So-min, who played Bae Seok-ryu, with a sweet and bittersweet dynamic. His delicate emotional expressions further immersed the audience in the drama. Jung Hae-in vividly portrayed the emotions of love he felt for a longtime childhood friend through his expressions, tone, and gestures.

Meanwhile, "Jeongnyeoni" is scheduled as the follow-up to "Mom's Friend's Son." The first broadcast is set for the 12th.
