"I fought hard but was happy."

Actor Byun Yo-han shared his thoughts on the end of the MBC-TV Friday-Saturday drama 'Death to Snow White – Black Out' on the 5th. He discussed the meaning of the project, the preparation process, and his final message to the viewers.

'Death to Snow White' concluded on the 4th with its highest rating of 8.8% (Nielsen Korea, national). It was praised for the excellent performances of the actors, led by Byun Yo-han, intuitive direction, and meticulous storytelling.

Byun Yo-han said, "This drama shows how the ordinary people around us, whom we once thought to be average, can become selfish and ugly in the face of their desires. It's a work that captures their bare faces."

Particularly, Byun Yo-han's acting was a standout performance. He played the role of Go Jung-woo, a character accused of a mysterious murder case with no found body, spanning a decade of being branded as a murderer.

Go Jung-woo is identified as the suspect in the murder of two friends and endures numerous hardships. He struggles to prove his innocence. Byun Yo-han completed the character's psychological turmoil with a weighty performance.

Byun Yo-han said, "Though it may have been lacking, I tried my best to understand Go Jung-woo while filming. Not only myself, who lived as Go Jung-woo, but every actor and staff member guarded him and moved forward together."

He continued, "I filmed intensely but happily," and added, "I was happy because the viewers supported Go Jung-woo. Thank you for sending so much love to the drama."

Meanwhile, Byun Yo-han's next project is the movie 'Pavane,' a melodrama genre in which three people, unable to love even themselves, shine light on each other to face life and love. He will play the role of the free-spirited 'Yohan.'
