Actress Han So-hee will present a chilly romance.
Distributor Pan Cinema announced on the 30th, "The movie 'Snowfall' (directed by Yoon Soo-ik) has confirmed its release date for the 23rd of next month." The main poster and trailer were also released, capturing the dreamy atmosphere of actors Han So-hee and Han Hae-in.
'Snowfall' is a winter love story. It depicts 'Seol-i' (played by Han So-hee), a teenage star, and 'Soo-an' (played by Han Hae-in), an aspiring actor who becomes close with her like fate. They couldn't be honest with each other in the past, leading to missed connections, but they eventually find their way back to each other.
The main poster reveals a poignant atmosphere. Soo-an is holding a camcorder, with Seol-i beside him, showing a tender moment. The two protagonists are huddled close together with a snowy sea in the background.
The trailer hinted at the relationship between the two. It opens with Seol-i running towards surfers on the sea, implying her reason for coming to the winter sea, asking, "Hello? How did you end up here?"
The youth of Seol-i and Soo-in is unfolded. Seol-i, a former teenage star who had to stand in front of the public since childhood, impulsively heads to Seoul, confiding her worries to Soo-an.
A story of twists follows. After a brief moment of joy, Seol-i leaves Soo-an with the words, “You deceived me.” Soo-an desperately searches for Seol-i in the cold sea.
The ending brings them together again. After some time, they find each other once more. The blue winter sea and the endless snowy field amplify the unique dreamy atmosphere of the film.
'Snowfall' is Han So-hee's screen debut. It captures her early days as an actress. The film was finished with pre-production in 2019. It will be available in theaters nationwide from the 23rd of next month.
