'Twice' member Jihyo's younger sibling, Lee Ha-eum, is set to debut as an actor.

Starhouse Entertainment announced on the 26th, "Lee Ha-eum will be appearing in the short-form drama 'Request for Resignation.' She has landed a leading role in her first project."

'Request for Resignation' is an office-themed drama based on a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of employees at the company 'Coincidence Trade' overcoming conflicts and building a 'womance.'

Lee Ha-eum plays the main character, Oh Geum-hee. Geum-hee is a supervisor in the overseas trading team at Coincidence Trade. Her character is overly diligent and appears almost workaholic.

She shows a special chemistry, entangling with various characters including longtime acquaintance CEO Kang Tae-ri, leaving a strong impression on the viewers.

Lee Ha-eum shared her thoughts, "I was nervous to take on a major role in my first project, but I was also very excited. I had a great time filming with the help of many people."

She asked for support for the project. "Playing Geum-hee was an incredibly valuable experience. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I worked hard to prepare."

The agency also added, "We are confident that Lee Ha-eum will showcase a new charm to the public through this short-form drama. We ask for a lot of interest and love."

Meanwhile, Lee Ha-eum appeared with Jihyo on MBC-TV's 'I Live Alone' last year, where she mentioned her activities as a model.
