IST Entertainment announced on the 24th that Sangyeon from 'The Boyz' has been cast in the musical 'Bloody Love,' which opens in December. He will be playing the role of Dracula's loyal butler.
'Bloody Love' is based on the classic best-selling novel 'Dracula.' It brings together the classical authenticity of the original 'Dracula' with a new sense of music.
Sangyeon will take on the role of 'Dimitru.' In the play, Dimitru is Dracula's loyal butler and shares a friendship that transcends life and death. Sangyeon plans to bring a fresh interpretation to the character.
He previously made a successful musical debut with 'Crash Landing on You,' where he received praise for his strong singing ability and delicate sensitivity as the eloquent young businessman 'Koo Seung-Joon.'
A representative emphasized, "'Bloody Love' premiered in the Czech Republic in 1995 and has been loved worldwide for 30 years. Please look forward to Sangyeon's portrayal of 'Dimitru.'"
Recently, The Boyz completed their 3rd world tour ('GENERATION II'), performing in 15 cities across America, Europe, and Asia. They are preparing for a comeback aimed for the end of October.
Meanwhile, 'Bloody Love' will open at KEPCO Art Center from December 6, 2025, to February 16, 2025.
