Singer JD1 (Jeong Dong-won) has started the countdown to his comeback.
JD1 released two spoiler photos of his third digital single ‘Take Responsibility’ on his official website on the 23rd. The retro vibes are set to captivate listeners.
The main setting features an analog-styled alleyway. Items such as cassette players and public phone booths are scattered throughout, evoking nostalgia.
It also carries a kitschy vibe, with painted drums sprayed with colorful paint and cute graffiti etched on blue public phone booths, adding to the lively atmosphere.
‘Take Responsibility’ is a remake of Untitle’s song of the same name, originally released in 1996. JD1 has reinterpreted it with his own flair, blending his unique performance style and upbeat melody.
A representative stated, “JD1 has perfected a unique retro vibe. Fans will see a concept different from what they’ve seen before.”
This is Jeong Dong-won’s third new song activity this year. Following 'Who AM I'* in January and 'ERROR 405' in May, he returns after approximately four months.
JD1 is Jeong Dong-won’s independent persona created to explore various genres. He is an idol designed to venture into the K-pop market, boasting solid skills.
With his debut single 'Who AM I,' he became a nominee for first place on music shows right at debut. With 'ERROR 405,' he ventured into Japan for the first time and successfully completed his activities there.
JD1 will be releasing his new song on major music sites at 6 PM on the 12th of next month.
