Influencer 'Imvely', who boasts 680,000 followers, has opened a YouTube channel.

Im Ji-hyun, known as 'Imvely', launched her YouTube channel 'Now it's Ji-hyun' on the 23rd. She uploaded her first video titled "Starting Ji-hyun's Story."

Im Ji-hyun revealed that she had contemplated opening her YouTube channel for 10 months. Regarding the channel's name, she began by saying, "Ten years as Imvely is a part of me, but the real Ji-hyun is different."

She further explained, "I wanted to show my true self, so I named the channel 'Now it's Ji-hyun' using my real name."

Living as Imvely for 10 years led to some unfair misunderstandings. People around her suggested, "Don't you want to clear up those misunderstandings?"

However, Ji-hyun confessed that she brushed it off, saying, "It's okay. People around me don't think that way." She understood that the public could misunderstand her because they didn't know her.

But close associates convinced her by saying, "Why not show your true self, different from what others perceive?" After much contemplation, she decided to challenge herself with YouTube.

Meanwhile, Imvely is a celebrity who expanded her business from an online clothing store to the beauty realm.
