DAY6 Has Opened a New World Tour.
From the 20th to the 22nd, DAY6 held their third world tour 'DAY6 WORLD TOUR FOREVER YOUNG' at the Incheon Inspire Arena. It's been 4 years and 8 months since their last world tour. In 2019, DAY6 conducted their second world tour 'GRAVITY', touring 26 cities.
In their 10th year since debut, the band is experiencing a golden age. The recent concerts were sold out as soon as tickets were released, showcasing their powerful ticket-selling ability with about 40,000 seats sold.
The title of this tour is 'FOREVER YOUNG'. DAY6 explained, "We tackled 'youth' in our first world tour. This time, we embody the desire to stay 'forever young'."
They continued, "We thought a lot about what youth means and concluded that as long as there is passion, it never ends. We are currently living our youth."
They infused a narrative into the setlist, dividing emotions such as excitement, happiness, love, separation, chaos, growth, and healing into different parts of their discography since debut.
New songs were also performed. DAY6 performed tracks from their 9th mini album, including 'Melt Down', 'Monster', 'She Smiled', 'Help Me Rock and Roll', and 'Failed Game'.
They also performed viral hits like 'You Were Beautiful' and 'To Be One Page'. 'Welcome to the Show' was added to the ending, marking the start of the DAY6 show.
They shared, "When 'Melt Down' hit number one, Sungjin hyung said we should always be thankful. We will always live with gratitude and continue to repay you with good music and great performances."
Meanwhile, DAY6 will continue their world tour in Kuala Lumpur on the 5-6th of next month, and tour Bali, Surabaya, Jakarta, and Singapore among other cities.
