Pop star Olivia Rodrigo has decided to make a meaningful donation ahead of her first concert in Korea. She plans to donate a portion of the concert proceeds to the Korean Women's Foundation.

Rodrigo will hold her first concert in Korea on the 20th and 21st at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The tickets sold out during the pre-sale, and additional tickets like limited-view seats were also all sold out.

She made a special decision for her Korean fans. Rodrigo announced on her Instagram that a portion of the ticket sales from her world tour in Seoul will support the Korean Women's Foundation.

She also introduced the Korean Women's Foundation, stating, "Since 1999, the Korean Women's Foundation has supported various women's organizations and activists."

She further explained that the foundation supports initiatives such as gender equality projects, prevention and support for victims of female violence, economic independence projects for single mothers and immigrant women, and more.

Olivia Rodrigo has been gaining recognition since her early teens with her acting roles. She became a Gen Z icon with the huge success of her self-written song "All I Want."

In 2021, her debut single "Drivers License" topped the Billboard album chart. The song remains in the top ranks on the chart and boasts 42 billion streams worldwide.

She has won three Grammy Awards (Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Pop Solo Performance). Additionally, she won seven awards at the Billboard Music Awards and three at the Apple Music Awards.

Olivia Rodrigo began her world tour for her second studio album, "Guts," this past February. She has performed in the U.S., Canada, Europe, and more.
