The Netflix movie 'The Brave' (directed by Kim Joo-hwan) was released on the 13th. According to Netflix, the film ranked first in the 'Global Top 10' non-English film category.
It recorded 8.3 million views (value obtained by dividing the viewing time by the total running time) in just three days. Although it tied with 'Outlaw,' there was a difference in cumulative viewing time.
The movie made it to the top 10 list in 58 countries, including South Korea, Brazil, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Morocco, Bolivia, Portugal, and Greece.
'The Brave' tells the story of a martial arts specialist who holds black belts in Taekwondo, Kendo, and Judo and becomes a martial arts instructor. It depicts an everyday hero who fights for the safety of citizens.
Kim Woo-bin played the role of Lee Jung-do, the martial arts instructor. He brought exhilaration by portraying a character who takes down criminals. He showcased great chemistry with Kim Sung-kyun, who played probation officer Kim Sun-min.
