Special Prosecutor's Team Raids Opposition Leader Candidate Kim Moon-soo Protests with Sit-in, Live Stretching Draws Attention
Kim Moon-soo, a candidate for the leadership of the People Power Party, is staging an indefinite sit-in protest in response to the Special Prosecutor's Team led by Minjung-ki attempting to raid the party's central office. His live stretching session during the protest has garnered significant attention.
On the 15th, a live broadcast on the YouTube channel 'Kim Moon-soo TV' captured Kim, dressed in a suit, performing stretches on the first floor of the People Power Party's central office in Yeouido, Seoul.

Kim is preparing for additional raids by the Minjung-ki Special Prosecutor's Team and has set up a spot for his sit-in protest at the central office.
Several red hand-held signs reading "Stop the Eradication of the Opposition" were placed in front of Kim to express objections to the special prosecutor's raid.
The Minjung-ki Special Prosecutor's Team attempted to raid the People Power Party's central office on the 13th in relation to allegations of mass admission of members from the Unification Church, which led to a halt and withdrawal due to resistance from the People Power Party.
73-Year-Old Kim Moon-soo Highlights Health Management and Physical Strength
According to the live stream, Kim's stretching lasted approximately eight minutes.

Kim performed exercises such as lying on a mat and pedaling with his legs raised, as well as repeatedly lifting and lowering his legs while lying down. He also demonstrated several 'body punch' movements from Taekwondo.
Born in 1951, Kim, now 73 years old, has shown a keen interest in health management.
In February, a video was shared on Facebook, operated by Kim's supporters, showing him in a suit doing six pull-ups on a horizontal bar, sparking discussions.
For Kim, pull-ups are not just a form of exercise but a means of 'health management.'
His show of physical strength continued even after his defeat in the presidential election.

The day after the election loss, on June 4, Kim posted a video on his Facebook of himself doing pull-ups and hula hooping in the mountains, accompanied by the caption, "This morning near my home, Gwanak Mountain. Back to normal."
This led to interpretations within political circles that Kim was indirectly expressing his intention to challenge for party leadership while showcasing his 'vitality.'
