Even more astonishing is that Mr. Kim collapsed again from cardiac arrest on June 13, five months later, at the same tennis court.

This time, Colonel Kim Jun-hyuk of the Army promptly performed CPR, and along with the arrival of the Yangpyeong Fire Station emergency responders Kang Min-guk (31) and Hong Hyun-jin (25, female), they were able to revive him.

As soon as his breathing and consciousness returned, the paramedics swiftly transported Mr. Kim to a nearby hospital, where he was able to regain his health.

He also conveyed his deep gratitude, saying, "Thanks to the quick emergency treatment from the same fire responders at the same location, I am living a second life."

After recovering his health to some extent at the hospital, Mr. Kim prepared drinks for the responders who saved his life and personally visited the Yangpyeong Fire Station on the 9th to express his thanks.

Yangpyeong Fire Chief Lee Jun-hee remarked, "I feel rewarded and grateful to hear such a heartwarming story right after arriving in Yangpyeong," adding, "The proactive CPR from bystanders, quick reporting, and collaboration among the emergency responders created this miraculous survival." He also stated, "I will continue to do my best to promote the importance of CPR and to establish a stable emergency response system."
