60s man causes accident while drunk driving a Ferrari in the wrong direction
A man in his 60s caused an accident by driving a luxury sports car, a Ferrari, in the wrong direction while under the influence of alcohol, resulting in a head-on collision with an oncoming Porter truck.
This dangerous driving incident affected a total of five vehicles.

On the 7th, the Daegu Northern Police Station officially announced that they had booked Mr. A (in his 60s) without detention on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.
According to police investigations, Mr. A was driving his Ferrari in the wrong direction on a one-way two-lane road in Sincheon-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, when he collided with a Porter vehicle that was driving normally at around 5:49 AM the previous day.
Using his own Ferrari in the wrong direction
Both Mr. A and the driver of the Porter vehicle were injured and transported to the hospital; fortunately, it has been confirmed that both drivers' lives are not in danger.
At the time of the accident, Mr. A's blood alcohol concentration was found to be at a level that would result in a license suspension.
Additional damages and future investigation directions
The police have identified that Mr. A caused another minor collision at a different location prior to this head-on collision.

The police stated that due to Mr. A's reckless drunk driving, a total of five vehicles were damaged either from direct collisions or from debris generated during the accident.
The Daegu Northern Police Station plans to conduct further investigations into the specific circumstances that led Mr. A to drive in the wrong direction and the reasons for operating a high-performance vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Drunk driving and driving in the wrong direction are serious violations of traffic regulations, and particularly the use of a high-performance vehicle like a Ferrari in such violations necessitates a more stringent investigation due to the potential for major accidents.
