Mr. A is accused of using methamphetamine and then setting his own apartment on fire in Okryun-dong, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, in the early hours of the 2nd.

Fortunately, there were no casualties from the fire; however, the residence was completely burned down, and smoke spread to the apartment corridor and building exterior, prompting 15 residents to evacuate.

Investigations revealed that Mr. A had repeatedly used methamphetamine and, in a hallucinatory state, carried out the crime under the delusion that "someone was trying to kill him."
