Court’s Judgment and Severity of the Crime

However, the court noted, "Considering circumstances such as Mr. A’s acknowledgment of the crime and his display of remorse," when deciding the sentence.
Residential burglary and theft is a crime that not only leads to property damage but also significantly undermines the psychological well-being of victims. Particularly in cases like this one, where a large sum of money was involved, the difficulty in recovering losses raises social awareness.
According to police statistics, residential burglary crimes have been occurring continuously in recent years, with an increasing trend, especially in multi-family housing such as apartments.
