A man in his 30s falls to his death at Incheon Airport Terminal 2 just before departure

On the morning of the 27th, a tragic incident occurred at Incheon International Airport's Terminal 2, where a man in his 30s with Indonesian nationality fell and lost his life.

According to the Incheon Airport Police, the man, identified as A (30s), was found collapsed on the basement level 1 of the terminal around 8:11 AM. Emergency rescue teams arrived on the scene and immediately performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), but the man ultimately died after being transported to the hospital.

Police have determined that A fell from the railing in front of the J counter on the third floor of the departure area. It has been confirmed that he was staying and working in the country and was scheduled to take a flight to Jakarta at 10:35 AM on the day of the incident.

A police official stated, "It has been reported that the deceased had a history of depression," and added, "We are investigating the precise circumstances of the fall."
