On the 14th of this month (local time), U.S. media outlets such as People reported this fact through a press release from HSHS St. Vincent Hospital located in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

According to the hospital, these nurses are receiving prenatal care and check-ups from their colleagues.

The hospital shared this news during Nurse Week, which took place from the 6th to the 12th.

In photos released by the hospital, the nurses (only 11 out of the 14 were photographed) are dressed in surgical scrubs, posing with smiles while holding their unborn bellies.

The nurses reported that patients have found it amusing to discover there are many pregnant nurses in the maternity ward.

Among the 14 pregnant nurses, the first delivery is scheduled for the end of this month, while the final, 14th delivery is expected in October.

The management responsible for this ward, which has a total of 87 staff members, stated, "We have sufficient time to prepare for absences due to maternity leave," adding, "We have planned to ensure there are no gaps in patient care."

Amy Barden, the director of the Women's & Children's Center at the hospital, mentioned, "This is a very meaningful moment for our nurses. Some of them are about to become first-time mothers."

She continued, "While they were already childcare professionals in their respective fields, many of them will now directly care for their own babies, and their expertise will deepen through the experience of becoming mothers."
